The "Inner Loop" is the land area located inside the 610 highway that encircles Houston. It is valued for its central location and proximity to Houston's premiere parks, museums, nightlife, and office towers.

The Inner Loop is contains three Areas and portions of two others. Those Areas contain many Market Areas but we will look at summary data for just eleven of the most popular. These eleven represent the best of the best for urban living.

The median rental home for the eleven market areas is 1,433sf and priced at $1.41sf. As one might expect in an urban environment the first scatter plot shows that most units are less than 2,000sf and a larger proportion are less than 1,500sf.
